I've always enjoyed working with my hands to create things. I didn't discover the wonders of clay, however, until I took a pottery class at a local community center. Upon my first sitting at a pottery wheel, I knew I had found my passion. Within a year, I built a small studio in the home I shared with my husband, two cats and two dogs in the foothills of Colorado. Coal Creek Pottery has moved and now operates in McDade, Texas.
Over the years I have exhibited and sold my pottery in a variety of venues. Although my studio hasn't grown, my desire to express myself with my hands through the medium of clay has.
